Three Injured, One Arrested, In Colorado Springs Vehicle Accident
Four people in their 20s were injured when a pickup truck rolled over in Colorado Springs last month. According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, two female passengers were treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital. A 22 year old male passenger was thrown from the truck and seriously injured. The 26 year old male driver, who was also thrown from the truck, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and vehicular assault.
Motorcyclist Killed On Colorado Interstate 25
According Fox 21 News, a 33 year old motorcyclist was killed last month when he attempted to pass between two trucks on Colorado Interstate 25. While the accident remains under investigation, Colorado State Troopers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
Pedestrian Accident Kills Two in Westminster
A double tragedy happened last week in suburban Westminster, Colorado. According to a news report on Denver’s 9News, the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. on September 3, when a man walking across Federal Boulevard was hit by a truck. The woman driving the truck stopped and went to check on the man. Sadly, another car struck and killed the woman. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities don’t suspect alcohol or speeding to be a factor in the incident. It was simply an unfortunate accident.
