Last year, The Bussey Law Firm, P.C. was amazed at the support shown for our 2019 New Heights Scholarship and are happy to announce another round for 2020! The 2020 New Heights Scholarship is a nationwide award that will provide one high school senior or college student with a $1,000 grand prize to help further their education.
How to Apply
One thing is paramount to achieving new heights in life: a solid education. Education is the foundation upon which all future knowledge is built, whether you wish to become a surgeon, an architect, an engineer, or a lawyer. The Bussey Law Firm, P.C., wishes to support any student looking to build a firm educational foundation and further their growth into a well-rounded leader in their field.
Your application will include two parts: filling out a form, and a 500-1,000 word short essay that answers the following questions:
The Bussey Law Firm, P.C., recognizes just how important it is to educate yourself. Timothy R. Bussey started as an active-duty Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force and served as a district attorney before founding his own firm. He is the only ACS Forensic Lawyer-Scientist in Colorado, a certified NHTSA Field Sobriety Test Instructor, and certified in Forensic Chromatography. For this short essay, please map out the path that YOU see yourself taking through college to your chosen field. If you’re unsure, tell us none the less – what would you like to do, and why?
