Criminal Defense Attorney in Colorado Springs
Clinton joins the practice after over 4 years in the Colorado Springs Public Defender's Office. In his time as a Deputy State Public Defender, he gained extensive litigation experience while representing the accused in Teller County and El Paso County. He has appeared in Court on countless occasions fighting for his clients at the juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony level for offenses ranging from Underage Drinking to First Degree Murder. In addition to a track record of successfully negotiating favorable results for a client, Clinton has taken over 40 cases to jury trial and court trials and is steadfast in his fight for his clients past the verdicts received. There is not a circumstance in the criminal law field that Clinton has not handled and his courtroom experience gives him an insight which benefits his clients.
Clinton is a transplant to Colorado Springs after growing up in Maytown, Pennsylvania. He obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science with high distinction from Pennsylvania State University. He received additional degrees in Labor Studies and Industrial Relations and Dispute Management and Conflict Resolution. He then attended Temple University and received his Juris Doctor in 2010. After graduation, he relocated to Colorado and began working for the Colorado State Public Defender's office.
In his free time Clinton enjoys rock climbing, spending time with family around the state, and watching college football.
